The Dibble Institute is pleased to extend “First Comes Love”, an exciting national campaign to expand the number of youth learning healthy relationship skills, with training at the Smart Marriage conference. You can be part of this program!

To nominate yourself or someone from your organization for “First Comes Love,” download and complete the nomination form, and fax it to (405) 848-2078. For more information call Natalie Middleton at (877) 435-8033.

“First Comes Love” will work with only 100 teachers, instructors, and youth workers to reach 4,000 high school age youth with “best practices” healthy relationship and marriage programs. The program will operate through schools, youth agencies, health clinics, and faith communities in every state.

Participants who can reach 40 teens by May 30, 2009 will select a free curriculum from Connections, The Art of Loving Well, or Essential Disciplines for Teens programs. See more details on each curriculum on the Dibble Institute website.

Nominees should register directly for the Smart Marriage 2 day pre-training institute. Participants will receive a $130 tuition rebate and a $70 benchmark payment once they have successfully reached 40 teens by May 30, 2009.

Each nominee will receive over $450 worth of best-practices education materials as well as a $130 tuition rebate and $70 benchmark payment when the program has been delivered with fidelity to 40 teens and the nominee completes an online survey.
Nominees will be selected based on the following criteria:

1. Nominee is currently working with youth
2. Nominee have a high probability of reaching a minimum of 40 high school aged youth
3. Nominee can complete the program with fidelity by May 30, 2009.

Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families: Grant 90FE0024/02.
