Scott Gardner, Ph.D.

Scott Gardner is an associate professor at South Dakota State University where he teaches family studies courses.  He received his Ph.D. at Texas Tech University in marriage and family therapy and is a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in marriage counseling.  Dr. Gardner has researched the effectiveness of teaching teens how to have successful marriages throughout their life.  He is currently writing a book called "The Myths of Marriage."  Most importantly, he celebrates his marriage of 17 years to his wife Brenda and being a dad to 3 great boys.
